Inc, Inc
To be honest, I was a little concerned. I didn't have much to say re: beer this week. I didn't go to any of the beer open houses, like Epic Ales or Big Al Brewing. I did go to Circa, and they have great beer on rotating taps, but still, that's not saying very much. Although their crab cakes were bad ass!
My pale ale is still blurping away occasionally, which is good considering it's been so cold and it's been in primary for a week. I'm planning on brewing a brown ale this weekend and just pitching the wert right onto the pale ale yeast - it's a British ale yeast, so it should be good. I did this once last summer, pitching a new beer right onto older yeast, and that turned out great. It saves me from having to wash out a carboy, and the new beer on the old yeast will ferment like mad! Hopefully the weather isn't wet and windy.
All of that, still not very interesting.
AND THEN - guess which of your favorite cooperative breweries just incorporated in Washington State?
Flying Bike Cooperative Brewery is officially incorporated!
This calls for, well, a beer! Cheers Flying Bike!
