This year marks Rails-to-Trails Conservancy’s seventh annual Opening Day for Trails! On Saturday, April 13, 2019, people across the nation will kick off the spring trail season by hitting their favorite trails for a walk, run, ride or special event.
To participate in this annual event sponsored by the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, meet at Flying Bike to participate in a group bike ride organized by a fellow member. Just as runners meet at Flying Bike for Run Club, bicyclists are invited to meet at Flying Bike and choose from 3 options: 22 miles, 15 miles or 11 miles. Each option will be led by a bicyclist familiar with the route. Riders will ride north on the Interurban and loop back to Flying Bike for beer.
