Homebrew Open Competition Dec 8th – Get Your Brew On!
We're excited to announce our fourth Flying Bike homebrew competition, and we're shaking things up a bit this time. Our first ever "Homebrew Open" will take place Sunday Dec 8th from 11am to 4pm at Conduit Coffee's roasting plant on Westlake, just south of the Fremont Bridge Conduit Coffee (who produce delicious local roasts!) is locasted at 2501 Westlake Ave N. (there's plenty of free parking across the street). This event will be a best-in-show style with interactive voting. If you like a beer at the event, mark it as one of your Top 5. We'll then tally results and determine a winner. It will be a great day of beer tasting and a fun way to sample a wide spectrum of Flying Bike homebrew talent. We're even planning to have the Seahawks vs 49ers game tuned in, as well as light snacks and pizzas on hand. Feel free to bring in outside food from the neighborhood if you'd like.
- If you submit bottles, please provide at least a six-pack's worth. You want your beer to be tasted by the most attendees possible!
- As for kegs, we prefer 5-gallon cornies but can take any size. You must provide a tap for your keg. We will provide Co2 tanks to charge the kegs as needed.Brewers, please sign up at this link:
