Presidents note about the Investment Campaign Kickoff!

Hey Flying Bikers!

Thank you all for the overwhelming support and interest in the investment campaign!  In addition to the huge investments offered up by the Board of Directors, we’ve also received subscriptions for tens of thousands of dollars from you and your fellow members!  We’re off to a great start, but we have a lot more ground to cover over the next few weeks.

Last Saturday we had an Informational Session for investors to come out and ask questions about the campaign.  The event was well attended and we had some excellent discussion.  It’s invigorating and exciting to see so many members invested in the success of the co-op!  If you didn’t have the chance to make it out to the session, feel free to get in touch with anyone on the Board of Directors, myself included.  We’re all available to sit down for a beer with any members who have questions or are interested in moving forward with an investment.  Just send a note to finance@flyingbike.coop to set up a meeting.

There’s also a Member Meetup at Bad Jimmy’s this Wednesday, February 19.  Many Board Members will be in attendance and are happy to answer questions or walk you through the investment process, so come on out!

This is also a critical time for us to sign up new members, so make sure you tell all your friends, family and coworkers about Flying Bike (there are prizes for doing this!)
