The “YOU” in getting ‘er dun

Well here we are at the end of summer

(I think we can “call” it - ), and we have a tremendous amount we can say we have accomplished!  And it’s all thanks to YOU, the member-owners of this unique Cooperative!

• You helped conclude one of our most successful Annual Meetings yet, with over 120 of you showing up and enjoying the camaraderie and beer on a beautiful weekend

 

• You’ve elected the Board of Directors that are going to be responsible to get your Brewery Built!  Congrats to Mitch & David, and welcome to Lyndsay Gordon – our newest Board member!

 

• You’ve chosen our next Beer!  From 19 entries of tasty, quaffable brews, you narrowed it down to just one CDA to go into our recipe book!
  This is in addition to the other 4 Beers we have: the Airship Pale, 7 Spoke Stout, FLY-PA and Bike Rye'd Saison!

 

• You have participated (and helped) in many Member events this year, from tastings to openings, rides to meetups – what a lot of fun being part of this Co-op is!

• You have signed up for volunteer positions to help build out our new brewery.  What an amazing amount of talent we have in our membership – and don’t worry, we’ll be contacting you soon for your help!

• You have helped us raise over $255,000 in our Capital Campaign to
  secure our Brewery location and build YOUR Brewery!
  

 

•  You helped  grow Flying Bike's membership over 22% in just the past 2 months through your recommendations to friends and family, and getting the word out!

 

Rest assured that your Board of Directors feels the support & the love (and the responsibility) to move on to the next phases of this project.  We are already working on committee assignments, and scheduling meetings for the teams as well as meeting as a Board several times over the next few weeks.

One thing we still need YOUR help with immediately, is closing the gap on this final push to $300,000.  If you haven't yet invested - we need your help.  If you have - THANK YOU - and now we need you to reach out to your beer buddies, relatives, workmates (as long as they reside in WA state and are a current member) and get them to pitch in.  Just $500 allows you to help fund History in the Making!
