Greetings from your Head Brewer!
Greetings, Fellow Flying Bikers!
My name is Kevin Forhan, and I’m your brewer. Thank you for letting me climb onto this odd contraption you’ve built while it’s still on the runway. Together, we’ll make it fly.
Every one of you is a FBCB member for a reason. I want to know what those reasons are. I want to know what it means to you, how you see your part in this adventure, and most importantly--because I’m your brewer--what particular skills, knowledge, and enthusiasms you’d like to join with those of your fellow Bikers to make the beer we make the best, most interesting, creative, unexpected, and notable possible, while keeping to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
That last part sounds boring, but that’s where we start--that’s the runway. Many of you are homebrewers, and I want to talk to you. Some of you might be welders, electricians, plumbers, lab techs, carpenters, IT folks, what have you--I want to talk to you, too. I want us to get to know each other. And soon we’ll have a place to meet!
It’s more fun to make beer when you do it with your friends. And now we all have 1,146 new ones, and counting. Thank you for letting me be one of them.
It’s going to be fun!
