After a two-year hiatus, the Washington Beer Commission is excited to present the 15th Annual Washington Brewer’s Festival on June 17th-19th, at King County’s Marymoor Park in Redmond. Please join us as we welcome 18,000+ beer aficionados and families for a celebration of world class Washington Beer on Father’s Day Weekend!

Flying Bike will be there, and we need a total of 10 volunteers to staff a shift one of the 3 days.  In order to sign up for one of these shifts:

  • You must have a MAST permit.  If you do not have your MAST, there is still time to take the class.
Here is a link with available classes https://lcb.wa.gov/mastrvp/mast-providers-list
  • If you have completed the MAST training, but are unable to sign up for the event, please be sure to update your member profile with your status,
  • You are expected to have taken the Flying Bike Festival Training class.  If you need more information on this, please contact festivals@flyingbike.coop

Note that there is a potentially lengthy sign-in process on-site that you must get through before your shift, so be sure to arrive in plenty of time.  You will not be allowed to drink beer before or during your shift but will receive a complimentary admission after your shift.

Please sign up by June 14th.  If the shift you’re interested in is full, or if you’d be willing to be a backup or do extra shifts, email us at festivals@flyingbike.coop and we’ll put you on the wait/call list.

Late breaking news:  We are allowed one “floater” per shift (two on Friday).  Only two pourers behind the taps at any given time, but the extra person(s) can be on site to swap out.
