The beer tasting event formerly known as “Brew at the Zoo” is now “OktoBEARfest”
Join us on Saturday, October 5, 2024 for a brand-new all-day event that goes from 1:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. At this exclusive 21+ event guests can enjoy the entire zoo while sampling brews and ciders from more than 50 Northwest breweries and cider houses!
Four lucky Flying Bike Pour Team members will be there representing our brewery, when we expect to be serving our “Too Many Puppies” hazy pale, and a tasty new Festbier.
Volunteers will meet at the brewery around noon, to pack up everything and haul it down to the Zoo. Details to be finalized this week. They may or may not have chairs at the booths, so if you have a folding chair, it might be a good idea to bring it, just in case.
Because this is such a long event (almost 6 hours) Team members can arrange breaks amongst themselves. Besides the “beer hall” area, the entire zoo will be open for you to enjoy, including games, animal talks, food trucks, etc.
