Come and spend an evening with Andrew Bieber, our very own Cycling Certified Cicerone (that’s beer for ‘sommelier’), for a Rye Beer Tasting class,  in preparation for the rye brewing competition, coming ryight around the corner.  Learn what to look for, and what to expect from a beer that leans heavily on its rye component.  We’ll assemble 6 of the best rye beers we can find and do a tasting flight to showcase the ingredient. Roggenbier, sure, but we’ll see what else we can find. Maybe some Rye-PAs or some Ryight Lagers.  Remember our Bike Rye’d Saison?  The format will be similar to the tastings we’ve done on Saturday mornings, with note sheets, style guidelines to compare with, and writing utensils. The evening will start with a brief tasting tutorial for anyone who wants a lesson on the ryte way to taste, and by the end of it, you’ll be a certiRYEd expert! Just bring yourself, nothing else ryquired.

This is a members-only event, and space is limited to 30.
