Join us for the Phinney Neighborhood’s 14th Annual Summer Beer Taste.  This year’s theme is Beerstock!

“It’s the 50th anniversary of Woodstock, and while we can’t give you three days of peace and music, we can promise you an afternoon of the best beer the Northwest has to offer.

At this fun, laid-back event, you can meet the people behind your favorite brews, chat with fellow enthusiasts, hang with your friends, and sample from new and favorite breweries alike.

The event includes ten (quite generous) tastes from 33 local microbreweries and cideries, plus pub snacks.”

Flying Bike will be there, pouring our ever popular Summer Zephyr Hazy IPA and surprise breakout Moto Gose.

There are two shifts:  one for setup, and one to pour.  Please feel free to sign up for one, or both.

Volunteering gets you free admission to the event.  For more information, please go to the PNA website (https://www.phinneycenter.org/calendar/summer-beer-19/)

This year, PNA is requiring all pouring staff to be licensed with the Washington State LCB, and to hold a valid MAST Class 12 permit.  If you currently have a permit, please go to your profile and enter your permit number.  If you are not yet licensed, but want to pour for the brewery, there is still a little bit of time to get one online, at one of the available class providers: https://lcb.wa.gov/mastrvp/mast-providers-list.  Be sure you allow 3 hours to complete the class.

To sign up, please go to: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0949A5AC29A3FD0-pnasummer2

Details for setup:  Coordinate with Kevin on transporting beer, jockey box, decorations, membership info and a canopy.  It should not take a full two hours to set up, but parking will be at a premium, so getting there early won’t hurt.

Pouring:  The event opens to the public at 4:00pm, but be ready to pour at 3:30. Have your MAST permit in hand (or print out of course completion certificate email with permit number from the class).  No beer drinking behind the taps!!!

To sign up to pour at this event, please go to: Signup Genius –

There is also an opportunity to be on the clean-up crew (not just our brewery, but directly with PNA) at the clean-up event.
