Flying Bike Homebrew Competitions are back!

Join us during Anniversary week to select a Northwest IPA.

Sign up for either Saturday or Sunday.  Each member needs to sign up individually, so we can give you points.  If you want to bring a guest (up to 2, please), be sure to add their names when prompted.

Here is a quick rundown of the Judging  Process:

• There may be too many entries for one person to rationally taste them all, so each judging sheet has a shuffled subset of beer samples (no more than 10) to allow judges to taste carefully, without getting too loopy by the end of their flight.
•  You are welcome to taste any of the entries, but your votes must be for beers on your judging sheet
•  Beers are judged generally by the provided style guideline as well as subjective taste by the member-judges
•  Member-judges are encouraged to write tasting notes. Scoresheets and notes will be available to brewer- please be constructive!
•  Members may bring guests. Their votes and comments will be collected but excluded from the final tallies.
•  Votes will be tallied at the end of the competition by the MDB (“Member Driven Beer”) team. The MDB decision is final.
•  The winning beer will be announced as soon as practicable, with a request going out to the winning brewer for their recipe.

Note that although the event runs until 1:00, last call will be at 12:45pm. Tasters down and taproom cleared promptly at 1:00pm.
